He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia McIntyre and Henry Bevers; and his brother Terry Bevers. He is survived by: his wife Merlyn Bevers; his children, Tim Smith (Tanya), Angela Cochran (Joe), Tria Simmons (Steve), Kristen Richardson (Udel) and Richard Bevers (Charlotte); and his grandchildren, TJ Smith (Elaina), Ashley Jankowski (Paul), Meghan Sewell (Matt), Frank, Walter Cochran, Andrew Simmons (AnnaKatherine), AnneMarie Ellis (Daniel), Gabe Bevers, Ally Thompson (Samuel), Presley and Tripp Richardson. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
