We bid farewell to Charles Townsend of Cumming, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his wife Lula Townsend; his children, Lisa Duff and Joel; his daughter-in-law Melanie Townsend; his grandchildren, Darren, Kim Duff, Dana and Brendan Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Terence, Connor Murphy and Amy Duff.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bearden Funeral Home (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel (334 Hwy 53, Dawsonville, GA 30534).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help offset final expenses.
