We are sad to announce that, on January 13, 2026, at the age of 68, Danny Shelnut (Cumming, Georgia), born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, O'Neal Shelnut and Helen Shelnut; his son Josh Shelnut; and his grandson Noah Shelnut. He is survived by: his wife Heather Murphy Shelnut; his children, Erica Shelnut, Phillip Shelnut (Tiffany), Blake Shelnut and Drew Shelnut; and his siblings, Donna Lee, Renee Lacey, David Shelnut (Karen) and Darrell Shelnut (Tammy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome or you may make a donation in Danny's name to First Baptist Church Cumming.
