She was predeceased by: her daughter Janaan Lee Newell; her grandson Matthew Fitzgerald; and her sister Doris Mae Buenzow. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Newell Fenton; her son-in-law Thomas Fenton; her son Jerome Charles Newell; her grandson Clint Thomas Fenton; and her nieces, Nancy Kruse (Ken) of Kansas City and Lori Widish.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hero Dog Rescue, (heroresuce.org) an organization she cared deeply about.
