He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Dorsett and Vera Dorsett; his mother-in-law Dorothy Moore Hauser; his sister Barbara Dorsett Bottoms; his brother-in-law William Mobley; his nephew Hal Moore; and his niece Donna Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Moore Dorsett; his children, Kathy Padgett (Joe) and Patrick Dorsett (Lyndsi); his grandchildren, Cole (Lindsey), Justin (Jana), Grace (Clark), Sydney, Ethan, Jacob and Chloe; his great grandchild Levi; his siblings, Sarah Dorsett Mobley and Tony Dorsett (Nancy); and his brother-in-law Jim Moore (Kitty). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or Shriners Hospital for Children.
