He is survived by: his adoptive parents, Peggy Phillips (Billy) and Gene Dawkins; his siblings, Jimmy James Barnes, Sandra Ritter (Bill), Marie Barnes, Sherry Barnes, Jimmie Lou Barnes, Cindy Thomsen, Jeff Lord and Gene Dawkins Jr.; his nephew Randy Tallant; and his niece Jayne Tallant. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
