It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Grimes Jr. of Cumming, Georgia, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grimes and Donnella Grimes; and his brothers, Alfonzo Kennebrew, Alonzo Kennebrew and William Kennebrew.
He is survived by: his significant other Sharon; his children, Trenton Grimes and Trestalyn Grimes; his brother Clifton Kennebrew (Gwendolyn); his siblings-in-law, Don Tallant, Gary Tallant (Ariane) and Lisa Elzey; and his grandchildren, AJ and Erin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040).
