He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Moore Hauser and James Moore Sr.; his stepfather Edgar Hauser; his son Hal Moore; and his brother-in-law Gary Dorsett.
He is survived by: his wife Kitty Moore; his daughter Jennifer (Gib Durden); his grandchildren, Katie and Gibby Durden; his sister Barbara Dorsett; his sisters-in-law, Penny (Dan Getti), Connie (David Harmon) and Becky (Buddy Parrish); and his goddaughter Ashley Soechtig Altena. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Purple Pansies, a foundation working to fight pancreatic cancer.
