With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Wallace Tanner of Cumming, Georgia, born in Chewalla, Tennessee, who passed away on September 19, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Janet Tanner; his daughter Denise Tanner of Woodstock; his parents, Arlie Tanner and Gracie Tanner; and his sisters, Barbara Ogletree, Peggy Thigpun and Dorothy Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Gaye Antle Tanner; his daughter Lynn Kimberlin (Kent); his grandsons, Trevor Kimberlin (Jessica) of Cumming and Nick Kimberlin (Andrea) of Portland, OR; his great grandchildren, Grady and Dylan Kimberlin of Cumming; his stepdaughter Amy Harrison (Ron) of Cumming; his brother Ronald Tanner (Garnet) of Caledonia, MS; and his uncles, Key Tanner (Gene) of Memphis, TN and Travis Tanner (Judy) of Parsons, TN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
