She is survived by: her husband Davy Howard; her sons, Bailey and Logan; her sisters, Jill Stonecypher and Peggy Davis; her nieces, Jennifer Smith and Tabitha Martin; her nephew Ben Davis; and her mother Montine Stonecypher.
Jan's passion and excellence in her field were honored in 2021 when she received the Elementary School Counselor of the Year Award, a testament to her outstanding contributions to the educational community.
