He is survived by: his wife Mary Ledford Mathis; his daughter Evonda Mathis; his brother-in-law Neil Parks; his niece Levenia Martin (Eston); his great-nieces, Laura Martin, Abbie Barnes (Craig) and Lena Bennett (Mark); and his nephews, John Martin Bennett, Reagan Bennett and Benjamin Bennett.
