He is survived by: his mother Johnnie Pearl Gibson; his wife Shelia Turnipseed; his children, Johnnetta Nicole Turnipseed and George Edward Turnipseed; and his siblings, Terrence Edward Turnipseed (Diane), Lolethia Turnipseed (Carl), Leo Spencer Turnipseed (Earnestine), LaRoy Turnipseed, LaDonna Turnipseed (Patrick Allen), Lemuel Turnipseed (Kristi), LeManuel Turnipseed (Lakeitha) and Kyle Gibson. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
