He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise McDaniel and Morris McDaniel Sr.; and his brother Morris McDaniel Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Olive McDaniel Johnson of Hickory, NC.; his wife Patricia Spiceland McDaniel; his daughter Mary Lynn Lane (Steve); and his sister-in-law Lynn Rushing (Phil). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
