He is survived by: his wife Nettie Marie Kent Burt; his children, Jonathan Burt of Milton, GA, Noel Burt (Beth) of Henderson, NC and Karen Missy McCue (Hank) of Woodstock, GA.; his grandchildren, Jordan McCue of Kennesaw, GA, Hannah Burt of Berea, KY and Jacob Burt of Raleigh, NC.; his sister Dora Arrendale of Dawsonville, GA; and his brother-in-law Michael Kent (Kathy) of Jasper, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Macedonia Church General Fund in J.M.'s memory.
