She is survived by: her brother Jim Karl of Burlington, WI.; her son Scott Toby; her daughter-in-law Colleen of Muskego, Wisconsin; her son Rick Toby; her daughter-in-law Velma of Racine, Wisconsin; her daughter Michele Toby-Wachter (Kevin Wachter) of Cumming, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Tre, Caleen and Jake; and her great grandchild Kol.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Karen's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (st.jude.org).
