Lamar V. Sexton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lamar V. Sexton of Cumming, Georgia, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Frances Ledbetter Sexton; his parents, Lester Sexton and Ruby Sexton; and his sister Ramoth Sexton. He is survived by: his children, Darla Sexton Light (David) and David Sexton (Vickie); his great grandchildren, Nicholas Sexton (Jessica), Alex Sexton, Molly Sexton, Christopher Light (Katie), Payton Light (Chelsey), Carlin Crouse (Chase), Tate, Bonnie, Jack, Landon, Keller, Barron, Jaye Belle and Jett; his in-laws, Lewis, Barbara Ledbetter, Patsy, Billy Holbrook, Doyle, Hellon Ledbetter and Lynda Ledbetter; and his close friends, Juan Gomez and Sissy Elrod. He is also survived by in-laws, grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 5640 Oak Grove Circle, Cumming, GA 30028 in memory of Lamar Sexton.
