He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Tommy Gilbert (Shannon), Lisa Whitehead (Andy) and Scott Gilbert (Kendra); and his grandchildren, Drew, Alex, Brianna, Laney, Noah, Ava, Emma and Alora.
In lieu of flowers, at Larry's request, the family requests donations be made to the Concord Baptist Church Youth Center, 6905 Concord Road, Cumming, Georgia 30028.
