He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Woody and Mattie Woody; his wife Martha Virginia Witherow Woody; his son Leonard Woody; his grandson Ricky Bruce; and his siblings, Wesley Woody, Sylvia Woody, Robert Woody and Lois Shirley.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Parker (Scott), Leroy Woody (Jane), Susie Moore (Donnie Burruss) and Lonnie Woody (Dawn). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
