She is survived by: her husband William Shimer (Bill); her children, Donna Jakulski, Rusty Shimer (Joanne) and Gary Shimer; her grandchildren, Jessica Bernstein (Joe), Christen Jakulski, Haley and Grant Shimer; her great grandchildren, Samantha Bernstein and Audrey Smith; and her siblings, Nedra Boreli and Stanley Watson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040).
