She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Earnest Mooney and Annie Lydia Collins Mooney; her husband Julius Egbert Roper; her daughter-in-law Judy Roper; her siblings-in-law, Holbert, Adell Roper, Ralph, Helen Roper, Inez, James Chadwick, Marcus Roper, Fairy Higgins, Shirley, Charles Gurley, Eddie Roper and Peggy Barrington; and her sister Louise (Billy Ray).
She is survived by: her children, Lamar Roper, Diann Mims (Thomas), Wayne Roper (Becky), Gail Seitz (Mike) and Dennis Roper (Pam); her grandchildren, Terry Roper (Brenda), Matthew Roper (Shelly), Derrick Mims (Jennifer), Denver Mims (Alisha), Devin Mims (Shelly), Josh Roper (Ashley), Seth Roper (Katie) and Kandance Reeves (Rey); her siblings, Bertha Wilkie, James and Judy Mooney; and her sister-in-law Linda Roper. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
