He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Latham Carr and Olice Marcus Carr, Sr.; his wife Irma Hatcher Carr; his son John Marcus Carr; and his sister Marion Yelvington.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Tom Yelvington; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Donna Carr; his daughter Marsha Carr Lanier; his grandchildren, Lindsay Emory (Phillip), Jordan Carr (Maureen) and Cindy Collin (Mathew); and his sister-in-law Grace Adkins. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law.
