He was predeceased by: his son Chad; his parents, Earlie Fields and Audrey Fields; his in-laws, Charles and Doris Roper; and his brother-in-law James Jett.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Roper; his son Corey (Gretta); his siblings, Amos (Cathy) and Nancy Jett; his grandchildren, Mallory, Skylar (Tyler), Mackinsey (Kyle), Mattie (Owen) and Ethan; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Roper (Kathy), Larry Roper and Becky Bradley (Bob). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends and neighbors.
