He was predeceased by: his mother Caroline Ann Black; his stepfather Richard Black of Gainesville; his father Ralph Martin of Gainesville; his sister Janice Martin (Chiggar) of Gainesville; his son-in-law Dexter McBrayer of Cumming; and his grandson Lukas Marc Martin McBrayer of Cumming.
He is survived by: his wife Mattie W. Martin; his children, Ashley L. Martin McBrayer and Joshua R. Martin of Cumming; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Smith McBrayer and Kylee McBrayer of Cumming Ga; his siblings, Tommy Martin (Gayle) of Homer, Joanne Smith Gainesville (Phillip), Jenny Millwood (Royce) of Flowery Branch, Lisa Cape (Shane) of Commerce and Pam Cagle (Kenneth) of Gainesville; and his siblings-in-law, Alan England (Connie) of Newnan, Gary Harris (Angela) of Gainesville Ga, Tommy Kee (late Revonda) of Cumming, Sharon McCutcheon (John) and Mollie Shepherd (Brian) of Cumming. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews he loved.
