He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Bandow (McClatchey) and Alvin Bandow; his daughters, Jennifer and Kelly; his siblings, Ronald (Linda) of Iowa Falls, IA, Russell and Roberta; his brother-in-law Randall Essing; Frank and Ruth Ann Scott of Early, IA.

He is survived by: his wife Diane (Scott); his daughter Kristi Sailor (Blair); his grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Kasey and Jake; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Scott (Angie) of Sergeant Bluff, IA and Danelle Essing of Iowa City, IA..

Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org) in memory of Randy Bandow.
