He was predeceased by: his father Charles Pate; his wife Joan McCombs Pate; and his son-in-law Robert Repasz Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Pate Repasz; his grandchildren, Ashley Repasz, Robert Repasz Jr. and Jefferson Repasz; his great grandchild Wyatt Douglas; and his sister-in-law Jean McCombs Turner. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
