He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Lickwar and Stacia Lickwar; and his sister Marilyn Falusi. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lickwar; his children, Rick Lickwar, Peter Lickwar, Amy Sykes and Kristina Passavanti; his grandchildren, Hailey Todd, Hayden Sykes, Finley Lickwar and Cali Passavanti; his great grandchildren, Asher Todd and Lucia Sykes; and his brother-in-law Steve Falusi. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warriors, an organization Richard felt strongly about.
