He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Compton and Marie Compton (Epperson). He is survived by: his close friends, Sandi and Jon; his wife Melody of Cumming; his daughters, Kelly Rumney (Matt) of Wylie and Kari Compton of Plano; his stepson Weston Walker (Emma) of Carrollton; his grandchildren, McKenna Rumney, Ryan Rumney and Kinsley Walker; his mother-in-law Patty Kramer of Cumming; his brother Jon (Susie) of Houston; and his siblings-in-law, Sarah Kangerga (John) of Amarillo and John (Dolly) of Longview, Washington.. He is also survived by other relatives and special friends.
