He was predeceased by: his parents, B. J. Sexton and Lorene Sexton; and his sister Pamela Joy Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Dana Sexton; his children, Pam Gravitt, Angie Samples (Steve), Kim Martin (Dwayne) and Jason Sexton; his sister Shirley Sexton Hansard (Robert "Pete"); his stepdaughters, Lauren and Kayla Whittaker; his grandchildren, Brandon Hampton (Shelby), Ashley Borbely (Jason), Macy Greenway (Austin), Anna Scarborough (Joseph) and Brantley Sexton; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Hubbard, Noah Hampton, Branson Abernathy, Nash Hampton, Harrison Hampton and Lillie Jean Marie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Forsyth County Veterans Alliance, which may be sent or dropped off at Ingram Funeral Home.
