She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Luther Rabun and Sallie Lou Rabun; her husband Erwin Merck Jr.; her sons, Bryan Merck and Robert Merck; and her grandson Dylan Merck.
She is survived by: her son James Merck; her daughters-in-law, Patricia Merck and Kelley Merck; her grandchildren, Sarah (Peter), Caroline (John), Daniel (Suzzy), Tyler (Gabby) and Seth; and her great grandchildren, Ellis, Margot, August, Elliot, Reece and John.
