She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frederick Day and Sarah Louise Carter "Doots" Day; her husband Don Byerly Sr.; her daughter Mary Su Byerly; her brothers, Freddy (Francis) and Randy Day (Pam); her siblings-in-law, Karl Harris and Francis Day; and her friends, Charlotte and Jim Monaghan.
She is survived by: her siblings, Beverly (Karl Harris), Betty Lou (Phil Rose) and June (David Nelson); her children, Don Jr. (Julie), Sharon and Tim (Mary Beth); her grandchildren, Donnie III (Whitney), Brooke (Justin Mattox), Timmy (Rachel), Brett (MacKenzie) and Elizabeth (Walker Elias); and her great grandchildren, Grey, Banks, Miller, Gigi, Donald IV "Ford", Meyers, Beau, Kaitlyn and Wyatt. She is also survived by her family as an exemplary wife and steadfast mother.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Optional: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital of Atlanta.
