He is survived by: his wife Connie C. Motes of Cumming; his parents, Diane Motes and Michael Motes of Douglasville; his sister Staci; his brother-in-law Christian Lawrence; his nieces and nephews, Mason of Social Circle, Mallory of Social Circle, Magan of Social Circle, Manning of Social Circle, Betsy and Chuck Craig of Newnan; and his sister-in-law Carol Ashby of Gainesville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
