We are sad to announce that, on June 15, 2023, at the age of 87, Thelma Downey of Cumming, Georgia, born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Anderson and Sarah Anderson (Brown); her husband Jack Downey; her son Paul Downey; and her grandmother Eula K. Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Perez (Fernando); her grandsons, Dominic, Benjamin and Anderson Perez; her sister Ida Jo Rutherford; her nephew Ron Rutherford (Rosanne Marie); and her siblings-in-law, Ann Fordeck and Joseph Downey (Mary Lou).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to the American Heart Association.
