He is survived by: his wife Mamie Garrett; his grandchildren, Lacy Garrett Hammond (Nathan), Lori Holland and Molly Holland Ruiz (Orlando); his stepgrandchildren, Tonya Shirvani, Anthony Sullens, Shane DeLong and Chad DeLong; his great grandchildren, Jewel Hammond, Lilly Ruiz and Leo Ruiz; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kempton Shiravani, Kody Young and Gabe DeLong.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040). Viewing was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at the Sawnee View Memorial Gardens (1390 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA 30040).
