Velma Celesta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merleen Martin and Frank Martin. She is survived by: her husband Dean Elzey; her children, Deanna Elzey, Bradley Elzey (Christa) and Kevin Elzey (Michelle); her grandchildren, Malia, Cameron, Jaxon, Anna and Bryson Elzey; her stepgrandchildren, Tony, Hilary, Jacob Luna and Kera Hayden; her great grandchildren, Kaley and Cecelia; her siblings, Thelma (JD), Reuben (Margaret) and Opal Curtis; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry (Nell Elzey), Sharon Elzey, Bruce Elzey and Renate Martin. She is also survived by her extended family through marriage: brother-in-law.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cumming Second Baptist Church (217 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Cumming, GA 30040). A burial was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at the Sawnee View Memorial Gardens (1390 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA 30040).
