He is survived by : his wife Nancy Darden Coody of Cuthbert; his stepson Joshua Yelverton (Fielding) of Gastonia, NC; his siblings, Paula Gillis (Bobby) of Americus, Rita Counts of Olin, NC, Judy Allen (Donnie) of Savannah and Ricky Coody (Kim) of Olin, NC; and his grandsons, Benjamin Yelverton and Pearce Yelverton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
