She is survived by : her children, Joyce Burns Taylor (Adrian) of Cuthbert, Robert Burns (Ginger) of Cuthbert and George Samuel Burns of Cuthbert; her siblings, Dorothy Hamilton (Roland), Johnnie Suggs (Olga) of Eufaula, AL and Edward Suggs (Mary) of Dothan Yancey, AL; and her grandchildren, Jacqueline Duey (Mike), Amanda Elmore (Scott), Kimberly Toole (Jacob), Timothy Elmore (Kala), Nina Lambert (Tray), Katy Burns and Emma Burns. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lunsford Funeral Home (54 Court St, Cuthbert, GA 39840). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 4:00 PM at 205 Gammage Rd, Eufaula, AL 36027.
