She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Parrent and Leora Cash Parrent Brooks; her spouse Dorris Franklin "D. F." Norman; and her siblings, Woodson Parrent, Meredith Duncan, Inez Thacker and Norma Wilkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Norman Taylor of Birmingham, Alabama, Joy Norman of Suwanee, Georgia and Leslie Norman of Suwanee, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Jeff Taylor (Elizabeth) of Los Angeles and Meredith Taylor Mills (Will) of Birmingham, Alabama.; and her great grandchildren, Allison, Elizabeth (Bess) and Charlotte Mills of Birmingham.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel (3481 Hamilton Mill Rd, Buford, GA 30519). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
