He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Daniel and Beulah Mae Hinton (Sims); his brother C. D. Hinton, Jr.; and his son Dan Hinton. He is survived by: his children, Doug Hinton (Sharon), Bo Hinton (Kathy) and Dana Pharr (Richard); his daughter-in-law Angie Hinton; his grandchildren, Clint Hinton, Gray Hinton, Logan Hinton (Maggie), Stuart Hinton (Adrienne), Katie Riche (Kevin), Madison Davis (Tim) and Will Hinton (Ashlyn); and his great grandchildren, Jack Hinton, Luke Hinton, Max Hinton, Haley Baltzell, Sadie Hinton, Hank Hinton, Grant Davis and Spence Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
