He was predeceased by: his father W. C. Lancaster, Jr.; and his grandson Alex Delor. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughter Michele Delor (David); his stepson Brian Dewing (Karey); his mother Betty Lancaster; his siblings, Sue Staggs (Bob), Larry Lancaster (Teresa) and Ronnie Lancaster (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Sydney, Blain, Sophia, Vera Cate and Caroline.

Donations to the TLC Humane Society or the youth ministry of the Dahlonega United Methodist Church may be made in lieu of flowers.
