We are sad to announce that, on April 7, 2023, at the age of 81, Charles Odis Brown of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Brown and Pauline Brown; his former wives, Alice Jeanne Grizzle Brown and Wylda Orr Brown; and his siblings, Vernell Cochran, J. D. Brown and Loyal Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brown; his sons, Dwayne (Sharon Brown), Jeff (Connie Brown), Chuck (Trish Carter) and Michael (Paula Caudell); his sister-in-law Syble Brown; his grandchildren, Shane, Chelsey Brown, Ryan, Tonya Brown, Ashley, Casey Garrett, Justin, Meredith Brown, Nicole Brown, Whitney, Dylan Lawrence, Christopher, Abigail Carter, Lauren, Bryan Burnette, Lindsey Caudell, Joe Spooner, Brandon Smith, Josh Walden and Josh Abernathy; and his close friend Tommy Burns. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Mission Fund.
