It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Eugene Grindle of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Fred Grindle and Blanch Ollie Anderson Grindle; his parents-in-law, Hubert and Imogene Sanford; his sisters-in-law, Martha Sue Rider and Elizabeth Hudson; and his nephew Travis Rider.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Grindle; his sister Frances Elaine Grizzle (Dean); his siblings-in-law, Mildred, Lyndal Caldwell, Bea, Danny Phillips, Tracy and Sherry Sanford; his nieces and nephews, Cheri Young (Mike), Terry Grizzle (Misty), Bobby Hudson (Nicole), Hayden Grizzle (Quinn), Kevin Phillips (Ginger), Sabrina, Kurt Thomas, Sydney, Trevor Casey and Cager Sanford; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke Phillips, Sunny Casey, Bo Thomas, Van Thomas, Jolene Thomas, Levon Thomas, Tillie Grizzle, Tatum Grizzle, Jacob Hudson and Joseph Young; and his close friends, Tony, Susan Anderson, Carlene, Dan Grindle and Walter Grindle.
Flowers will be accepted; however, contributions may also be made to Cavenders Creek Baptist Church in Loving Memory or Mr. Grindle.
