He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Moore; his son Ricky McDonald; his son-in-law Dwayne Lewallen; and his siblings, Inez McGahee, Louise Ivester, Fannie Moore and Rev. J. C. Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Moore; his children, Jerry Moore (Wanda), Donna Holley (Todd) and Elizabeth Flanagan (James); and his siblings, Randolph Moore, Charlie Moore and Velma Moore. He is also survived by four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
