It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Craig James Cavitt of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Janice Bombe and Clifford Cavitt; his wife Lisa; his children, Catherine Hutwagner (Will Hutwagner) and Cameron; and his stepfather Robert Bombe.

Donations to the US Mountain Ranger Association may be made in Craig's honor in lieu of flowers.
