With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debra Knight of Dahlonega, Georgia, born in Mableton, Georgia, who passed away on June 7, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earle Chafin and Martha Ann Jordan Chafin; her former husband Danny Powell; her brother Terry Chafin; and her granddaughters, Lily Kate Powell and Eleanor Knight.
She is survived by: her husband David Knight of Dahlonega; her children, Timothy Powell (Jennifer) of Nashville and Katie Grimes (Alan) of Mantee; her stepsons, Jonathan Knight (Mandy) and Jordan Knight (Megan); her brother Winfred Chafin (Andrea); her sister-in-law Sonja Chafin; and her grandchildren, Danny Powell, Patrick Powell, Cooper Grimes and Elliot Grimes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and beloved friends.
