It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewey Wright of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Wright and Myrtle Wright. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wright; his daughter Debbie; his son-in-law Jerry Lomax; and his sisters, Shirley Hemmings and Helen Gaddis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 4391 Porter Springs Rd. Dahlonega, GA 30533.
