She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Sims and Lily Waters Sims; her grandson Collin Stiles; and her sister Elizabeth Smith. She is survived by: her husband James Perkins; her children, Angela Perkins Kelley (Johnny), Cleveland, James Perkins Jr., Stan Perkins (Tammy), Chris Perkins of Winter Haven, FL and Libby Stiles of Murphy, NC; and her siblings, Claudia Jean Wahlstein and Russell Sims Jr.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
