It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry Moore of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Moore Sr. and Elizabeth Boyd Moore; his wife Fran Staton Moore; and his daughter Virginia Moore. He is survived by : his daughters, Elizabeth Jane Cameron (Jimmy) of Lexington and Margaret Sosebee of Dahlonega; his siblings, Ann Wimpy (Al) and Frank Moore (Nancy); his great grandchildren, Carson, Caroline, Colt, Chloe, Madison, Quinton, Erin, Casey and Ethan; his great great grandchild Griffin; and his close friends, F. M. Satterfield, Jimmy Simpson, Doug Cochran, Don Christy, David King and Jerry Lomax. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Flowers will be accepted, however, for those wanting to make a donation in memory of Corky, donations may be made to the Shiners Children Hospital.
