Homer Cantrell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer Cantrell of Dahlonega, Georgia, born in White, Georgia, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Cantrell and Dorothy Roberts Cantrell; and his brothers, Roy Cantrell and Grady Cantrell. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Cantrell; his children, David of Dahlonega, Remy Cantrell of Dahlonega, Donna of Dahlonega and Mark Anderson of Dahlonega; his grandchildren, Lauren, Marcos Torres, Zack Anderson, Mallory Anderson, Jake Cantrell and Savanna Cantrell; his great grandchildren, Mason Torres, Allie Torres and Wyatt Torres; his siblings, Boyd Cantrell, Ruth London (Lamar), Dewey Cantrell (Mary), Joyce Lail (Harold), Jane Odegard (Bill) and Danny Cantrell (Julie); and his sister-in-law Jane Cantrell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Friendship Baptist Church in Homer's memory.
