He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise Burnett and Robert William Timms; his wife Emily Alice Saxon Timms; his daughter Cheryl Timms Strauss; and his siblings, Phyllis Brown, Bobby Timms, Betty Jo Moore, Kenny Timms and Lynn Eidson.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna; his son-in-law Jeff Steele; his grandchildren, Hunter Strauss (Audra) and Peyton Bokash (Maxwell); and his sister Pamela Jackson (Scott). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crowell Brothers Funeral Home (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Peachtree Memorial Park (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092).
