With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Gary Shirley of Dahlonega, Georgia, born in Roswell, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul William Shirley and Anne Patterson Shirley; and his brother William Michael Shirley. He is survived by: his girlfriend Margaret Palmer of Dahlonega; his stepsons, Bryan Palmer of Dahlonega and Jeremy Palmer of Dahlonega; his sisters, Paula Wright (Bill) of Missoula, MT and Lynn Sutton of Cleveland; his nieces and nephews, Sandra Lynn Anderson, Eric Wright, Kristopher Wright (Crystal), Michael Wright, Erin Wright, Karen Martin (Chris), Michelle Clairemont and Johnny Anderson (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Braxten, Ellarie and Declan. He is also survived by numerous friends and other relatives.
